Hi, I’m Anne – a stay-at-home mum, home educator, and full-time adventurer alongside my spirited five-year-old daughter.
Home educating wasn’t always part of the plan. Like many parents, I imagined the traditional route: uniforms, lunch boxes, the school run. But after watching my daughter struggle to settle into Reception – and facing fines just for wanting to travel as a family – I knew something had to change. That’s when our home education journey began.
Since then, we’ve embraced a lifestyle that centres around curiosity, connection, and cultural exploration. We don’t just learn from books – we learn from the world. From wandering historic streets to exploring new languages and customs, travel is a vital part of how I teach my daughter about life, history, and what it means to be a global citizen.
This blog is our corner of the internet to share it all.
